at the top of the ranking list for nutrient richness. Rich in vitamins and
minerals, it is also concentrated in health-promoting phytonutrients such as
carotenoids (beta-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin) and flavonoids to provide
you with powerful antioxidant protection.
INGREDIENTS
Spinach, chopped- 1 big bunch (2 cups before cooking)
Mozzarella cheese, grated- ¼ cup
Green chillies, chopped- 2
Ginger garlic paste- 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder- ¼ teaspoon (optional)
Garam masala- ¼ teaspoon
Salt- to taste
Bread crumbs- 1 cup (or) bread slices-2 (toured and finely
crushed in blender)
Oil- shallow fry
PROCEDURE
- In a pan add the spinach on medium flame allow it to sweat and
the water (of the spinach) to evaporate. (Don’t overcook) in this add a teaspoon of oil, green
chillies and ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes.
- Then add pepper, garam masala powder and a pinch of salt with this
mixture and cook for a minute. Add the grated cheese and mix well with this
masala. Switch off the gas and allow this to cool.
- Add breadcrumbs with this mixture and mix well. Take a gooseberry sized ball and make it flat like patties.
- Shallow fry this in oil and keep on the paper towel to drain extra oil.
- Note: Paneer (cottage cheese) also can be used in the place of cheese.
- Can be used as a burger patties.
