Deviled eggs are popular Easter Recipes made out of eggs. Generally this is served as an appetizer. Simple yet tasty appetizer. Adding avacado makes this dish little healthy and attractive. Simple to make and can be served as a snack for kids too.

       Deviled eggs are any party favourite. In this dish you can add your creativity and make the filling as you wish. Easy and handy to finish in two mouthfuls. A visual treat to eyes and can be eaten without any mess. Tasty Party pleaser indeed.

Avocado Deviled Eggs/ Green Deviled Eggs

Avocado- 1/2
Mayonnaise (Full fat/ low fat)- 1 tablespoon
Thick Yoghurt/ Sour cream-1 tablespoon
Garlic, minced- 1/2 teaspoon
Salt- to taste
Pepper- big pinch

  • Hard boil eggs for about 5 minutes. Halve the hard boiled eggs lengthwise and transfer the yolks into a bowl. Keep the whites covered and refrigerated till you finish the filling.
  • Scoop out the avocado, add into a bowl and mash well with the back of the fork. Add the egg yolk and again mash well to smooth consistency.
  • Add mayonnaise, sour cream/ yoghurt, garlic and again mix well.
  • Add pepper an salt. Taste and season accordingly.
  • Spoon the mixture into the egg white or fill the whites with a piping bag/ syringe fitted with a big nozzle.
  • Top each egg pieces with coriander leaves.
